21/01/2005 (Friday):
8.30 p.m. Assemble at KSRTC Main bus stand, Majestic near
Enquiry counters at the main entrance. Board a bus to Belthangadi. (Exact timings will be told in the briefing
22/01/2005 (Saturday):
6.00 a.m. Reach Belthangadi & proceed to the foothill of Jamalaghad.
7.30 a.m. After breakfast, climb the hill and descend to the road head (5 hrs.). Proceed to Samse by jeep.
2.30 p.m. After lunch trek (2 hrs.) to Lobo house / Nishehalla and stay.
23/01/2005 (Sunday ):
6.00 a.m. Climb Kudremukh peak and descend to Lobo house / Nishehalla (5 hrs.).
1.30 p.m. After lunch, trek to water falls and to Samse (4 hrs.).
5.30 p.m. Proceed to Hornadu and board a bus to Bangalore at 8.30 p.m.
24/01/2005 (Monday):
Reach Bangalore at 5.00 a.m.
B – Climbing Expedition to Kumaraparvatha Peak (5700 ft.)
26th – 27th February 2005
25/2/2005 (Friday):
8.30 p.m. Assemble at KSRTC Main bus stand, Majestic near
Enquiry counters at the main entrance. Board a bus to Kukkesubramanya. (Exact timings will be told in the briefing)
26/2/2005 (Saturday):
6.00 a.m. Reach Subramanya.
8.00 a.m. After breakfast, trek (3 hrs.) to Girigadde.
11.30 a.m. Reach Girigadde & rest.
2.30 p.m. After lunch, start climbing the peak (5 hrs.).
7.30 p.m. Reach the top and stay.
27/2/2005 (Sunday):
6.00 a.m. Descend (3 hrs.) to Girigadde & rest.
2.30 p.m. After lunch, descend (3 hrs.) to Kukkesubramanya.
5.30 p.m. Reach Subramanya and visit to the temple.
8.30 p.m. Board a bus to Bangalore.
28/2/2005 (Monday):
5.00 a.m. Reach Bangalore.
Criteria
A– Climbing Expedition to Kudremukh Peak (6624 ft.) & Jamalaghad (5821 ft.) : 22nd – 23rd January 2005
B – Climbing Expedition to Kumaraparvatha Peak (5700 ft.) : 26th – 27th February 2005
Age group: Above 15 years.
Participation fees: A – Jamalaghad & Kudremukh Peak - Rs.1,250/-
B – Kumaraparvatha Peak - Rs.1,000/-
Registration fees: Rs.750/- (balance amount should be paid on briefing day)
Team strength: Minimum: 10 members.
Maximum: 20 “
LAST DATE FOR REGISTRATION AND BRIEFING DATE:
A – 15/1/2005 – Saturday – for Kudremukh peak. B – 19/2/2005 – Saturday – for Kumaraparvatha peak.
Items to be carried by the participants in a backpack:
1 . Torch with spare batteries; 2. Water bottle (2 Lts.); 3. Plate, tumbler & spoon; 4. Bedding - (Ground sheet, air-pillow & sleeping bag); 5.Toilet-kit (toothpaste & brush, soap and towel); 6. Water-proof Windcheater; 7. A pair of chapels; 8. Spare dresses, if required; 9. Sun cap; 10. Empty Tiffin box for carrying lunch; 11. Personal medicines, if any.

EXPLORATIVE TREK TO :
(a) Explorative trek in Agumbe to Narasimha Parvatha peak & Sirimane falls – February 2005;
(b) Kodachadri peak, Sarvagnapeetha & Harasinagundi fall- March 2005.
NOTE :
All participants should register, attend the briefing & submit duly signed Registration Form.
All participants should wear rubber-soled shoes during trekking.
No refund of participation fees if the cancellation is done after the date of Registration.
NEC reserves the right to cancel or change the schedule of the programme.
Participation fee is inclusive of transport, guidance & simple vegetarian food.
Registration fees will not be refunded under any circumstance.
